I also passed the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional exam.
I prefer to take such exams close to each other. There is always some overlap
in content and concepts. Also, when I'm already in study mode it's
easier for me to continue. Long breaks just kill momentum.

Again, Tutorials Dojo was my
resource of choice for the necessary study material.

The Exam prep was a bit dryer compared to the DevOps Pro.
The SA role isn't only about tech and in general pretty broad.
So even though you don't have to know individual topics in-depth and
with every detail, you need to learn about a broad set of services
and best practices to put them together to a useful solution.

It was still very valuable and in combination with DevOps Pro it
pushed my understanding and confidence about AWS services.

After a few weeks of preparation I've passed the AWS Devops Engineer Professional Exam.
I enjoyed most of the studying. There were just a couple of topics that
are a bit dry and harder to go through. Overall it was interesting and valuable
to dive deep into AWS services and tooling around DevOps. Quite obvious that
serverless technologies like Lambda or DynamoDB and AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild,
CodeDeploy and the like have a strong focus in the Exam.

Similar as for the Associate Exams, I used the Practice Exam and eBook from Tutorials Dojo
to study and prepare. For me that was all I needed, I found other courses too time consuming given that I already have a lot of AWS knowledge.

As always, studying for the exam helped me to get new architecture and integration ideas.
For example NeuVector by SUSE and AWS CodePipeline, stay tuned, I will share something soon ;)
